2010 Transportation Authorization Project Requests

On behalf of the citizens of Missouri’s Second Congressional District, I have requested that the new Surface Transportation Authorization Act include funding for the following High-Priority Projects :

Acquire critical right-of-way for approaches and complete final design for the New I-64 Missouri River Bridge, St. Charles County, MO Request Amount: $10,000,000

Acquire right-of-way, relocate utilities, and partially build MO Route 364 (Page Avenue Extension, Phase 3) in St. Charles County, MO. Request Amount: $50,000,000

Construct Improvements to Baxter Road, St. Louis County, MO Request Amount: $6,616,000

New Interchange on US 61 near South Lincoln Drive, Lincoln County, MO Request Amount: $11,969,000

Plan, design and construct the River Valley Connector, St. Louis County, MO Request Amount: $54,400,000

Upgrade US 61, Lincoln and Northern St. Charles Counties, MO Request Amount: $57,600,000

(Language): Develop a network of nonmotorized transportation routes in the city of St. Louis, St. Louis and St. Charles Counties in MO and St. Clair and Madison counties in IL by including these jurisdictions in the Nonmotorized Transportation Pilot Program.
